LE5 Senior Interpreter and Research Officer
The position is the Consulate-General’s lead interpreter and translator, and manages high quality interpreting and translation services between Chinese Mandarin and English. This includes work outside of Shanghai and outside of standard working hours. The position provides high quality and targeted research, analysis and reporting on a range of complex topics.
The position liaises with the Chinese government, organisations, companies, and universities and provides protocol, logistical and operational advice and support for meetings, provincial travel and incoming and outgoing delegations.

LE4 Expatriate Integrity Officer & LE5 Expatriate Integrity Team Leader (please click here to open the job ad)
Working for the Australian Department of Home Affairs, the Expatriate Integrity Officer and Expatriate Integrity Team leader will undertake investigations, integrity checks and reporting in relation to tactical, entity or caseload specific risks in the immigration programs and where applicable, manage staff. It is possible that the successful applicant may also be required to process and decide visa applications and review work of Staff in order to deliver visa programs, however the expected vacancies at this time are in the China CRIT.
